our staff

  • Shelley Bauer, Senior Pastor

Shelley has been a part of the Crosswinds staff since 2003 and became the Senior Pastor in 2010. Her passion is for the church to be all that God meant it to be, to really be, as Bill Hybels says, “the hope of the world." Shelley’s background is in counseling and psychology and she is currently furthering her education in spiritual formation through the Transforming Center (www.transformingcenter.org). She and her husband, Gregg, have been married for 31 years and have 4 adult sons and 2 amazing daughters-in-law (for which she is very thankful)! Gregg works as a union carpenter. In their time off, Shelley and Gregg love to spend time with their family and friends and are learning to enjoy biking and traveling! Contact Shelley at shelley.bauer@crosswinds.cc

Together, they have one adult son, Adam, who is studying to be an audio engineer. Jill loves serving her Crosswinds family and getting to interact with all of the people who use the building.
