Shelley has been a part of the Crosswinds staff since 2003 and became the Senior Pastor in 2010. Her passion is for the church to be all that God meant it to be, to really be, as Bill Hybels says, “the hope of the world." Shelley’s background is in counseling and psychology and she is currently furthering her education in spiritual formation through the Transforming Center (www.transformingcenter.org). She and her husband, Gregg, have been married for 31 years and have 4 adult sons and 2 amazing daughters-in-law (for which she is very thankful)! Gregg works as a union carpenter. In their time off, Shelley and Gregg love to spend time with their family and friends and are learning to enjoy biking and traveling! Contact Shelley at shelley.bauer@crosswinds.cc

An Oregon native, Sarah loves everything outdoors, Oregon Duck football, and a strong cup of coffee. After graduating from college, Sarah worked in youth ministry and studied theology, during which time she fell in love with neighborhood outreach ministry. Sarah truly believes that God has a plan for Bloomington-Normal and is excited to come alongside the ministries in the neighborhood, meet neighbors, and share in the adventure of creating safe space for neighbors to gather, grow and build relationships.
